Jim Flynn is Construction Director for Astins, working across all areas of the business to ensure we deliver projects on time, on budget and to the best possible quality.
Highly experienced in all aspects of international construction, Jim joined Astins in 2001 as a contracts manager for London projects and was promoted to Construction Director in 2006. As a member of the Astins board, he has been influential in the growth plan for Astins both in the UK and internationally. Fully ‘hands-on’ in approach, Jim is involved across all activities ranging from work winning though to project handover.
Jim works closely with the Human Resources and Astins Institute teams on recruitment, training, mobilising of teams and management of site resources for all projects. Ensuring we meet our clients’ evolving needs and to keep our people fully trained and motivated, he also chairs the Astins’ Quality, Health, Environment, Safety Together (QHEST) team to enable best practice to be shared across the Astins business.
Jim is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Building.
