We want to show that construction is a great career choice by offering work experience placements throughout the year. We offer placements on-site to give you experience of what it’s really like to work on site, as well as support roles, such as, Design technician, Commercial quantity Surveyor, HR administrator, Site administrator.
Internships are popular with students looking for longer-term experience related to their chosen field. An internship provides a good foundation of knowledge and experience and to date, this opportunity has been taken up within quantity surveying within our Commercial team.
We believe in supporting new entrants into construction and particularly into our sector. Apprenticeships within interior systems offer individuals the opportunity to commence a career in dry lining and covers a multitude of skills, such as; health and safety, working on a site, tools and maintenance, materials, team working and the fundamentals of dry lining, building up to the final assessment.
Access to Astins
Access to Astins is our Graduate Programme. We offer four six month placements over a two year period. Placements include; Commercial, Estimating, Design and Operations, giving a well-rounded knowledge and experience across the business. At the end of the programme, we look to offer individuals a role in their chosen field of interest. Graduates also have the opportunity to work with a member of the Board and deliver a project.
