PROJECT OUTLINE: Astins was contracted to supply and install partitioning, linings, plastering, ceilings to 39 high end residential units, a gym and swimming pool. The properties will range in market value from £2m – £25m, with the client’s key focus on the quality of the finished products. The project uses state-of-the-art ceiling details in the below ground apartments. Stretch fabric ceilings are being installed by Astins, simulating daylight and creating the illusion of natural lighting throughout the apartments.
THE ASTINS BENEFIT: Astins have proactively supported the project with an on-site installation team, comprising in excess of 100 people working across over 60 work zones within 39 apartments. This has consistently given our client confidence that the project will be completed to budget, to the highest of standards and to agreed time scales. Astins recognised the importance of the accuracy of this installation, to ensure quality standards and the optimum apartment net letting areas were achieved for the client. As a result, Astins engaged third party engineering consultants to ensure these critical project goals were delivered.
Being in the heart of London this job is logistically challenging with no hoists only a crane on site, forward thinking and detailed planning is a necessity.
