Astins has its own in-house team of eight engineers and designers, all with experience at leading manufacturers. They work with architects to provide clients with quality and cost improvements through value engineering.

The team works with CAD and has 3-D modelling capability. Through its relationship with leading design and construction consultants and a parallel understanding of all the major manufactured systems, the team can also help to resolve major issues pertaining to building regulations and standards.

A great example is our work on the Edith Cavell Hospital in Peterborough, which presented design efficiencies worth £1m to its client.
