Our excellent health and safety record is another guarantee and measure of the quality of service that Astins offers.

Our dedicated health and safety consultant makes regular and frequent site visits to ensure compliance with both our own, the Project’s, and all legislative regulatory requirements.

All our operatives undergo Incident and Injury Free (IIF), Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), as well as CITB/NVQ and City & Guilds training over and above the mandatory safety requirements. Toolbox talks are held on all sites on a regular basis.

Discussions are now taking place with representatives from industries outside the construction industry for example oil and petrochemicals, in order to ensure continuous improvement of our safety record.
